Game Review: Tropico 4

Games are really fun to play because we could reduce stress due to learning at school especially among teenagers that had an active learning. One of the solutions is entertainment but television isn't just enough. So, the other way is by playing games that makes you in a good mood and helps your mind think creatively. One of the game that could make you have a busy mind is Tropico the fourth edition or Tropico 4.

Tropico is a simulation game that helps you build a city in your own island while dealing with the island's nature beauty and the economy so the city will grew stronger. In the previous Tropico game series, the enemy is other nation and there will be a cold war between them or maybe an invasion but in the fourth edition, the enemy is nature disaster such as earthquakes, tsunami, and even volcano erupt. The fourth edition brings you more fun than in the previous because the island is 4-times much larger than the first island. So, players could build more buildings with more land. And it gives more freedom to the players.

You could also construct decorations that makes your island attract tourist that is one of the main cause for higher economy income. In this game, the tourist plays the most important role for economy income because if disaster strikes the island, you could rebuild some buildings with the money you have. This game has been critic by critics for several times and received more than just one award as one of the addicting games ever produced. So, you could be a president in your own island.

After you finished building your island, you could also created your own avatar for the president. This game was first released at August 26th 2011 on PC and October 21st 2011 on Xbox360. This game is also similar to SimCity but the difference is the city in a tropical paradise island that you could enjoy the beauty.

1. iCarly Gets A Special Guest From The US Government

Nickelodeon's most hit TV series is getting bigger, better, and epic! This 2012, iCarly has reached the 5th season with brand new episodes airing almost every week. "Season 5 is gonna be good" said Noah Munck (plays the role Gibby in iCarly). The most shocking news from iCarly is that a higher person that involved in the US Government is gonna be on iCarly. And guest what?! Michelle Obama is on iCarly in the episode "iMeet The First Lady" that just aired in 16th January 2012. She also do "Random Dancing", a segment on iCarly where everyone can dance whatever they like and Michelle Obama dance with all of the iCarly crew including the creator of iCarly himself, Dan Schneider at the end of the episode.

It was said that Michelle Obama's daughters loved to watch iCarly and Michelle starts to watch with them too. Michelle herself admit that she wants to appear on iCarly and her daughters were totally excited to see their mother on TV. Be sure to catch brand new episodes of iCarly on nickelodeon.

2. Nickelodeon Is Launching A Brand New Show About Music Starring Cymphonique Miller

Coming this February 4, a brand new show is about to gather in the big nickelodeon family. The show focuses on a high school student named Kacey Simon who was once a popular girl until her status go down and kicked out of the popular group just because she wears braces and glasses. Then, Kacey learn how to express herself by becoming the lead singer of a band in the school named Gravity 5. The band's success begins a rivalry with The Perfs, a rival band featuring Kacey's former best friends. So, don't miss nick's brand new show called "How To Rock" starring Cymphonique Miller as Kacey Simon and Samantha Boscarino (from Good Luck Charlie) as Molly,  one of the members of the Perfs.

3. The Premiere of House Of Anubis Season 2

 

          One nickelodeon's successful shows is finally renewed for a brand new season. The first nickelodeon series to be typed as mystery and romance-comedy. House Of Anubis Season 2 has premiered on nick in January 7 (as series preview). In the first season, the story is about Nina, the new student of the boarding school arrives at the day where a student named Joy is missing without a trace. Patricia, Joy's best friend is freaked out when Joy is missing and she only blame the Nina because she thought that Nina was replacing her. While the truth is that the guardian(Victor) of the house where the students live in and the other teachers have a mission to find a cup that gives eternal live and to get it, they have eliminate Joy's existence in the school because they think that Joy is the chosen one while the real chosen one is Nina. And the other students starts to deal with their relationship and high school lives. 

          This season 2, I don't have much stories or previews about it but I know the main point. Well, in season 2, the students are back from their semester break but Victor isn't happy about it. Then, the students make a midnight feast in the house attic. But then they found a dollhouse of the Anubis House replica. Victor and the other teachers are on to another mission. They had to find a book that has the recipe to create eternal life but the students have to find it first or Nina will loses her life. So, are you excited? 3. Victorious Gets More Worldwide Popularity

Victorious, a nickelodeon original series is now receiving a worldwide popularity. The show stars Victoria Justice (from Zoey 101) as Tori, a teenager that just be the student of Hollywood Arts, a school where all talented students are in and Tori's talent is singing. The show focuses on Tori dealing with the issues in the school and her singing talent. Now, Victorious is renewed for a third season coming this January 28th. After the show's huge success, Victorious launched a bunch of music videos such as All I Want Is Everything (picture above) , You're The Reason (picture below),  a whole lot more. Lunar New Year Isn't Just About The Angpao

First of all, I just want to say happy lunar new year. Most people always happy when it comes to chinese new year cause its time to spend some time with families and friends. Most children likes chinese new year just because of the angpao that consist of money (if you are, admit it now! ha-ha.. but if you're not, good for you then). Lunar New Year is also the time to wish for anything you want besides angpao. You could also wish for fortune, presents, health, education, and etc. So what are you gonna wish this year?

Like its said in the picture "May good fortune abound and wealth increase in your New Year". Hope you have a great time in your New Year Holiday but its just a day plus 2 days of weekends. Usually at the new year holidays, I traveled from malls to malls. I also put the Chinese New Year Tree. Its just like the christmas tree but it has no leaves. Only has flowers but we also could decorate it ourselves. This is my Lunar New Year Tree in the picture.

Now I'm gonna talk about angpao's. For me angpao's are fun but sometimes they're boring after I'm celebrating many times of Lunar New Year with family every year except last year. Angpaos are fun if they are just like in the picture. But its hard to carry it cause if its consist of laptop in it, its gonna be heavy to carry it. So, whose excited for Lunar New Year? I'm excited just to decorate the New Year tree. So let you're fortune and wealth be stronger and happy lunar new year!

1. True Or Fake??

When you see this picture, you thought that this is so unbelievable but when you think of it, it looks kinda real. Bieber Fans would totally say that "this is fake", "Justin Bieber would never do that" or "impossible!". But everyone could do whatever they want even though its silly or crazy.


2. What year is it? 2049?

The picture is kinda impossible cause everyone always thinks that the technology hasn't been that awesome yet but everything is possible. Everyone always wishes to have a phone like that even me, hahaha... but everyone has a dream and high imagination like high techno gadgets.


3. Oxygen! Is it free or not??

Oxygen, God created just for us to breathe and its free, duh!! This sign looks silly but we don't know if this sign is attached in a toxic waste or radioactive area.


4. Don't have a stove? Then use the crazy way!

If you're crazy enough to try this, then your screwed up. This may look silly but its real. Crazy people do this at home so if you are normal, DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!


5. World's Biggest Bowl of Noodle

Hungry? Then eat the world's biggest bowl of noodles. The person tries to order a noodle but this cafe gives a big bowl of noodle. I would totally eat that when I haven't eat for a week or stranded on a desert island. So, want to try?? I wonder how it tastes, LOL

6. You're Fired!! Are you kidding me??

This is a really immature boss. If I have a boss like this, I would totally laughed hard because I'd probably think "are you kidding me?" or "is this some kind of joke?". So, this couldn't be the boss because he has to give a formal appearance by keep his tidiness and don't forget to wipe his mouth after eating.

Movie Review: The Lorax

The Lorax is a theatrical movie that will released in 2012. The movie was based from the book that was authored by Dr. Seuss with the same title. Well, this movie hasn't premiere now yet but I will tell you some few story lines about the movie. The Lorax is a movie about a genius boy who lives in a town with no real trees. Until he visits his friend who tells her dream to see a real tree. The journey begins when he goes to a mysterious place that leads to the world of the lorax. The Lorax is a creature who takes care of the plants around his world. He makes trees grow and took a great care of it by giving some love and passion.

Yay! Its Christmas and everyone is already set for the holidays. Some of them spend the holiday with a vacation and some of them spend it in their home. Also, decorating the christmas tree is a tradition that will never be forgotten. Don't waste your christmas with a boring activity.
